Test Environment


The TEST database/environment can be set up to "try" or "test" the modules of the system.

The TEST database/environment can be set up to "try" or "test" the modules of the system.

The “TEST” database has been setup.

You can log into this “test” database and experiment or try anything you want that will not affect the production/live data.

We (PS Data) can restore the test database/environment at any time to bring the test side back up to latest data.

Exceptions to the test database, DO NOT do.

-Scanning – any scanning to any kind of entity

-importing of pictures

-Vendors/Customers notes

***Explanation – these are external files to the database

There should be an icon on your desktop that looks like a bomb and says “sscs TEST TEST TEST” or "sds TEST TEST TEST"

When you log in the main menu will have “TEST TEST TEST

***NOTE – it is advised that you log out of the “production” or “live” database when testing, because it’s easy to get confused
