EDI Using PSDATA.NET 

SDS / SSCS has the ability to send and receive EDI using 2 methods.

Using the traditional EDI methods involving a "VAN"

Using PSDATA.NET to send and receive EDI

Module Defaults

EDI Settings

The basic settings of EDI are configured  to send and receive data from the vendor to folders specified in the system,

triggered after a transaction or process is completed or saved. 

Any updates to the existing transaction will also be triggered from the system to respective inbox.

The documents configured are transmission are of general in nature any specific documents

can be configured at the vendor  doc mapping.

The basic mapping for inbound or outbound is process configured manually or automatic with envelop template.

The batch configuration for documents for both inbound & outbound is created as shown below in the screen as per the steps,

once configured automatically the EDI will get triggered to the vendor.

The mail configuration protocol is maintained in the below window and file path , user name , password etc., are done.

As and when a EDI is triggered and data file is attached to the mail, the status of the mail will be displayed in the window with 

transaction ID and time stamp for future references.

The window lists the messages from the sent folder, messages archived and all messages in the all transactions folder.
